Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information White Exterior Co. collects through whiteexteriorco.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept it in plain language.

Information you give us

When you request an estimate, schedule online, or send our contact form, we collect what you enter:

• Your name, phone number, email address, and service address.
• Details about the job, such as the services you choose, your answers about your property, and any message you write.

With each submission we also receive the page you sent it from, the date and time, and your IP address, which we use to block spam. We use this information to reply to you, prepare your estimate, schedule and do the work, and follow up about your job.

Online scheduling

If you pick an appointment time on our site, the booking calendar is provided by Calendly. Your name and email are passed to it to fill in the booking form, and Calendly handles your appointment details under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

We use two analytics tools to understand how people use the site so we can improve it:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google) records things like the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, clicks and scrolling, your general location (city level), and your device and browser type.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) records how visitors interact with pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and may record session replays (a playback of a visit) so we can see what's confusing or broken and fix it.

Clarity's session replays aren't tied to your name, and anything you type into a form field is automatically masked, so it isn't captured in the recordings.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies (small files stored by your browser) to tell visits apart and to recognize return visits. We use these cookies for analytics only. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We only share it with the services that run parts of this site for us:

• Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), to operate our analytics.
• Calendly, if you book an appointment online.
• Our website host, which runs the site and delivers form submissions to our email.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions and job records for as long as we need them to run the business, for example to answer questions about past work. Analytics data is kept for as long as it's useful for improving the site. We don't currently have a fixed deletion schedule. Google and Microsoft also apply their own retention limits to the analytics data they hold.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have from you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. To limit analytics, block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out add-on linked above.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
